The 9th International Conference on Tularemia, 16-19 October 2018 in Montréal, Canada, has secured some additional funding for Travel Awards. A limited number of $500 travel awards will be selected on the basis of merit, as reflected by the quality of abstract submission, and with attention to increasing diversity and participation by those traditionally underrepresented, including those from low-resource situations. Preference will be given to trainees, i.e., graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Similarly, although abstract submission is not a strict requirement for application, preference will be given to those who are prepared to present their work. You may still submit an abstract, although newly submitted abstracts will not be considered for oral presentation.
